The story: In Tiana, the Village of Fire, a special event is about to take place: the arrival of the Fairy and the appointment of a Priest. Every four years, Priests are chosen from all over the world to embark on a journey to the Mana Tree to revive the flow of Mana. On their journey, they are accompanied by a soul guardian, who is supposed to guide them safely to their destination. This time, it is young Val who is given this task. On the day of the fairy's arrival, Val and his childhood friend take part in the celebrations in the village square. In the warm light of the evening sun, everyone waits spellbound for a sign from the fairy, for everyone in the village hopes to be chosen. Finally, the fairy appears, floats towards her friend, and appoints her as the Fire Initiate. All of Tiana is happy for the two and prays for the success of their journey - but the two have no idea what an incredible adventure awaits them.
